It all started with one girl and her van.
The girl lived in her van by herself and started to wonder how many other women were living this way.
She was surprised to discover there were many women around the world living vanlife solo.
She decided to bring them together, and this is how the women’s vanlife collective movement was born.
Women’s Vanlife Collective is a community for adventurous women taking their lives on the road.
We have over 39,000 members from all over the world living in vans, caravans, RVs and even school buses!
Whether you are contemplating vanlife, are a part-time van dweller or are already living in your vehicle full time you are welcome here.
We come from all walks of life and are an inclusive community, welcoming women from all backgrounds including the BIPOC and LGBTIQ community. Some of us have just graduated high school, others are retirees; some of us are long time travelers while others are working professionals. Some have the company of a pet, but we all share one thing in common: this incredible nomadic lifestyle. Our mission is to build a global support network to reduce the risk of social isolation, create accessible resources to support remote work opportunities and to empower members to travel safely and independently as solo women.
